One to honor GOD and use his gift the way GOD gave it to him, upcoming artist SEMAJE is that rare artist that presents a new fresh authentic sound to music. With his undeniable passion, creativity, distinctive tone, vocal ability and range, it’s no doubt SEMAJE will soar and be a messenger for the world through music.
SEMAJE was born and raised in Detroit, MI a city where music is greatly appreciated better known as Motown. SEMAJE grew up in the church and began playing drums at his church as young kid. He moved onto attempting to play the piano but didn’t pursue it. He then started singing in the youth choir and found his true passion as a singer. Vocally inspired by music legends such as Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Usher, Musiq, James Moore, The ClarkSisters, Donny Hathaway, Brandy, Morris Day, Mary Mary and others. Semaje started noticing the impact on people from the gift of his voice, it was then when he realized it’s what GOD created him to do. SEMAJE has been at it non-stop, singing and spreading the inspiration around encouraging each crowd he has the opportunity to reach.
From that moment until now GOD has allowed SEMAJE to use his gift throughout different parts of the world. SEMAJE has been given the opportunity to be on platforms such as The Dorinda Show, TCT Celebrate, Impact Network, The Word Network and even traveling to Israel to sing. SEMAJE also has been given the opportunity to share the stage with artist like Kierra Sheard & BRL, Marvin Winans, Tasha Page- Lockhart, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Tim Bowman Jr. and many others.
